The pha'rmacy assistant's mission, within a predefined framework and within the limits of his skills, is to advise and sell over-the-counter dru'gs, medicinal devices and parapha'rmaceutical products.

He works under the responsibility of the pha'rmacist and delivers, under his control, the dru'gs requiring a prescription. He knows how to make simple magistral and officinal preparations.

He participates, in close collaboration with the other members of the pha'rmacy team, in inventory management and administrative tasks, as well as in the presentation of products sold in pha'rmacies.

He is subject to professional secrecy, has a sense of responsibility and is versatile. This profession requires good human contact, sensitivity and friendliness.
